Liebe Festivalbesucher & Medienpartner,

das wichtigste gleich zuerst. Die Originaltickets sind fast ausverkauft. Wer sich noch eine sichern will muss sich ranhalten in unseren Ticketshop sind noch wenige der schönen Originaltickets vorhanden.

Ansonsten gibt es die NCN Tickets nur noch über die Online Vorverkaufstellen im Internet oder in speziellen Fachgeschäften in Leipzig und Dresden.

So nun kommen wir zur Vervollständigung des Line Ups.
Wir möchten Euch nicht länger auf die Folter spannen und Euch heute kurz die fünf Bands vorstellen, die das Line-Up der 6.Ausgabe der Nocturnal Culture Night vervollständigen werden.

Psyche
Psyche sind eine wahre Legende. Mit ihren Hits wie “Unveiling The Secret”, “Sanctuary” oder “Goodbye Horses” sind sie ein fester Bestandteil der Independent Szene. Live begeistert Sänger Darrin Huss sein Publikum mit seiner unverwechselbaren Stimme, welche er äußerst vielseitig auf der Bühne in Szene zu setzen vermag.

Shiv-R
In diesem Jahr können wir auf dem NCN eine Deutschland-Premiere erleben. Die aus Australien stammende Formation Shiv-R ist DIE neue Kraft in der elektronischen Musikwelt.  Lee Bulig und Pete Crane haben ihren ganz eigenen Stil.
Eine Eigenschaft erfolgreicher Genrevertreter übernehmen Shiv-R aber völlig ungehemmt. Jeder einzelne Song frisst sich tief ins Ohr und hinterlässt bleibende Spuren.

DEN.C.T.BUG
Das diesjährige NCN werden am Freitag auf der kleinen Bühne DEN.C.T.BUG eröffnen. DEN.C.T.BUG sind Kim Hoffmann und Markus Pawlikowski, zwei aus dem mittelfränkischen Ansbach stammende Musiker, die schon seit einiger Zeit Musik machen. Ihre Musik klingt nach einer turbulenten Mischung aus alten Stücken von VNV Nation, SuicideCommando und Frozen Plasma, vereint mit einer kräftigen Stimme, die an Rammstein erinnert, und deutschsprachigen Texten.

Oberer Totpunkt
Oberer Totpunkt aus Hamburg ist ein deutschsprachiges, elektronisches Spoken-Word Musikprojekt von Bettina Bormann und Michael Krüger, die live von verschiedenen Künstlern unterstützt werden.
Die Soundcollagen und Beats von Michael Krüger lenken durch dunkel-morbide Welten, Bettina Bormanns schwarze Kurzgeschichten stehen im Mittelpunkt des Konzeptes.

Obscenity Trial
Nach 6-jähriger Pause wird Obscenity Trial von Oliver Wand wieder ins Leben gerufen.
Bereits mit dem Album “HereAndNow” (2006) gelingt ihm mehr als nur ein Achtungserfolg.
Frei von früheren Fesseln spielt Obscenity Trial Electropop und können damit sowohl Presse als auch Publikum überzeugen.

NCN 2011 – weitere vier Bands bestätigt

so langsam aber sicher füllt sich unser Line-Up.

Hier sind die nächsten vier Bands, die Ihr Kommen für das erste September Wochenende zugesagt haben:

Es gibt wohl kaum einen zweiten deutschen Rock-Act, der in den vergangenen fast 20 Jahren derart für Vielseitigkeit, Eigenständigkeit und steten musikalischen Wandel stand wie Atrocity: Mit progressivem Death Metal startend, erforschte die Band um Frontmann Alexander Krull im Laufe der Jahre dermaßen unterschiedliche stilistische Gefilde, dass der Presse bald die Genrebegriffe abhandenkamen. Samstagabend könnt Ihr Euch live dabei sein, wenn Atrocity auf der Bühne im Kulturpark mit ihrer Best Of-Show die Bühne rocken. Dabei werden natürlich auch zahlreiche Stücke der beiden WERK 80-Alben mit dabei sein – Songs, die einfach jeder schon mal gehört hat und die einem deswegen direkt ins Ohr und hoffentlich auch in die Beine gehen.

Oft als Apocalpyptic Pop bezeichnet, verändert sich die Musik der 1993 in Schweden gegründeten Gruppe über die Jahre ständig und verbindet sich zu der Essenz dessen, was Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio wirklich ist.Grenzgänge zwischen Kunst, Aufbegehren, Leidenschaft, Apokalypse und Sex: Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio haben es sich mit ihren so opulenten wie intensiven Klangskulpturen in ihrer ganz eigenen musikalischen Nische bequem gemacht.
Mit “Songs 4 Hate & Devotion” gab es kürzlich neuen Musikstoff für alle Freunde von Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio. Wir freuen uns, Euch am Freitag eines der seltenen Konzerte der Band präsentieren zu dürfen.

Das Projekt In My Rosary wurde 1992 von dem Musiker Ralf Jesek und dem Fotografen Dirk Lakomy als Plattform für ihre künstlerische Kooperation ins Leben gerufen. Ursprünglich als einmalige Zusammenarbeit für die Produktion eines einzigen Tapes geplant, waren die Reaktionen auf ihre Musik jedoch derart positiv, dass die Zusammenarbeit fortgesetzt wurde. Nach 18 Jahren, in denen Ralf Jesek und Dirk Lakomy alles ausprobiert haben, was im Rahmen des fest umrissenen In My Rosary-Konzepts möglich war, schließen sie mit der Veröffentlichung von RETRO (2010) nun den einst begonnenen Kreis.
„Das Konzept des Albums und auch des Artworks ist ganz simpel: das ist In My Rosary, das sind wir – nehmt uns, wie wir sind oder lasst es. Mehr gibt es eigentlich nicht zu sagen.”

Seit Ende 2003 ist die Hamburger Band [soon] auf Deutschlands Bühnen aktiv und hatte sich bereits vor der Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums “end isolation” im Jahr 2006 einen guten Namen erspielt. Ende 2007 erschien das zweite Album der Band mit dem Titel “Without a Trace”.
Kennzeichnend für die Musik von [soon] sind sowohl eingängig gestaltete Refrains als auch eine originelle Rhythmus-Arbeit und abwechslungsreiche Arrangements. Mit der musikalischen Mischung aus harten Gitarren, kraftvollem Drumming und klarem Gesang liegt die Musik von [soon] in der Schnittmenge von Rock und Metal, bleibt dabei aber immer melodisch.

NCN 6 – The next four bands

Slowly but steady the schedule for the NCN 6 fills up.
These are the next four bands who confirmed that they will enter the stage at the Kulturpark Deutzen on the first weekend in September 2011:

Atrocity, one of Germany’s most successful metal bands, is also one of the most experimental and diverse musical acts in the history of metal. They have always found the courage to explore uncharted territories, while delivering top-notch productions.For their releases Werk 80 and Werk II, which are probably the best-known albums of the band, they transformed pop-classics of the 1980s into Atrocity songs. At the NCN 2011 you can hear yourself how Atrocity breathes new life into the classics of the 1980s, because we were able to convince the band to play a Best Of show on Saturday night which will definitely include a number of those songs.

Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio is an aesthetic constellation situated somewhere on the illusive boundary between the impending apocalypse & the orgies of ancient Rome. Accompanied by the sound of acoustic guitars, cyclic soundscapes, strings and percussions; come songs on the threshold of the sensually seductive and morally reprehensible; gospels on the verge of the conjecturally acclaimed and what’s soon to be condemned. Recently Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio released their new album “Songs 4 Hate and Devotion”, featuring many strong new songs. We are proud to present you Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio on Friday at the NCN 6.

The project In My Rosary was founded in 1992 by the musician Ralf Jesek and the photographerDirk Lakomy to bea stage for their artistic collaboration. Originally thought to last only for a single tapeproduction, the reactions to their music wereso positive that they continued their cooperation.
After 18 years,in which Ralf Jesek andDirk Lakomygave everything a trial which was possible within the definite In My Rosary concept,they nowclose their once started circle with theirnew album RETRO (2010).”The concept of the album and the artwork is rather simple: this is In My Rosary, this is us – take us as we are or let it remain. Actually there is nothing more to say.”

After the turn of the millennium the band [soon] was founded in Hamburg, Germany. Step by step the band developed a unique sound: Modern and hard riffing meets a melodic, clear voice that gets under your skin.
[soon]’s debut album ‘”end isolation” was released in 2006 and received very positive feedback by both online and print press. By the end of 2007 they released their second long player “Without a Trace”. As the debut it received very a positive feedback by the media.
Since then their dark and atmospheric rock music finds more and more enthusiastic fans all over Europe.

Neue Bandbestätigungen auf dem NCN Festival No. 6

Liebe Festivalgemeinde,
heute möchten wir Euch die nächsten Bands für das NCN Festival präsentieren!

2009 waren 32 Crash zum ersten Mal in Deutzen dabei. In diesem Jahr werden sie  mit neuem Album in der Tasche wiederkommen. Die Mannen um Len Lemeire (Implant), Jan D’Hooghe (Implant) and Jean-Luc De Meyer (Front 242) freuen sich jetzt schon darauf, Euch am Samstag ihre neuen Songs und ihre Hits zu präsentieren.

Des weiteren haben sich Schöngeist angemeldet, die große Bühne mit deutschsprachigen Songs zu rocken. Mit ihrem aktuellen Album „Keine Zeit“ setzen sie sich mit aktuellen Problemen in Deutschland wie Integration auf hohem Niveau auseinander.

Der erste Opener steht ebenfalls fest: Nova-spes werden den Sonntag die Mainstage erobern.

NCN Festival – next bands and winners

Today we would like to present you the next confirmed bands for the Nocturnal Culture Night festival.

In 2009, 32 Crash rocked the Kulturpark in Deutzen for the first time. This year they will return bringing along their new album. Len Lemeire (Implant) and his mates Jan D’Hooghe (Implant) and Jean-Luc De Meyer (Front 242) are looking forward to presenting you their new songs on Saturday at the NCN.

Furthermore, the German band Schöngeist will capture the stage with German rock songs. On their new album “Keine Zeit”, the band deals with current contemporary problems in Germany like integration at a high level.

And we can announce our first opening band: Nova-spes will open the program on the main stage on Sunday.

The winner of our „Opener Voting“ 2010 is the band Sensory Gate –Congratulations.
The band will perform on Saturday at a later time.

Sei es beim Zita Rock Festival in Berlin, bei der gelungenen Premiere des E-tropolis Festivals oder beim Amphi Festival, das mit 16.000 Besuchern zum zweiten Mal in seiner noch jungen Geschichte ausverkauft war.

Amphi Festival 2011 – Christmasnews!

Dear Amphi Fans,
with the holy fest straight ahead it´s only a few days until the busy preparations for Christmas turn into a quiet and peaceful celebration. Joining the circle of the pre-festive excitement we are also bringing our act together at full blast, though with a slight difference. We won´t let you wait till Christmas Eve to unwrap the gifts.
We just hand them out today, as we have to share some marvellous musical surprises for the Amphi Festival 2011:

Amphi Festival 2011 – Line-up almost complete!
Joining the league of Nitzer Ebb, Covenant, Feindflug, Hocico, Agonoize and Leæther Strip Belgium´s supreme hard-electro ambassador Johan van Roy expands the meeting of the finest to an electronic G7 summit with SUICIDE COMMANDO. Equally enthralling, though in a different way, the synth-pop veterans DE/VISION take it on a little more gently. Also IN STRICT CONFIDENCE have confirmed their appearance at the Amphi Festival 2011, while the new 80´s-influenced all star project FUNKHAUSTRUPPE, featuring members of Welle: Erdball, Die Perlen, Hertzinfarkt and Sonnenbrandt, will climb the stage with an exclusive festival performance.

Synth-pop in a different “mode“ awaits you with pianist Lars Arnold. Under the motto CLASSIC & DEPECHE the artist will give a classic piano concert with some of the greatest hits by the legendary Brits at the Theater am Tanzbrunnen. ROME from Luxemburg are on their part about to enchant you with an acoustic version of their folk noir. Beside these aural pleasures the music theatre genre enriches the experience of the Amphi Festival 2011 as well with a true masterpiece. Based loosely on a tale by the Brothers Grimm the SALONORCHESTER WEIMAR plays “Hänsel & Gretel – ein Schauermärchen (a horrific tale)“ with music of Rammstein, Mozart and Bach.

VNV Nation – Headliner @ NCN Festival 2011

VNV Nation als Headliner beim NCN Festival 6!

Liebe NCN Festivalgemeinde,
eine kleine Sensation bahnte sich ja schon in den letzten Wochen an. Jetzt ist es offiziell: Der Headliner am Sonntag wird niemand geringeres als VNV Nation sein.

Es ist für uns eine große Ehre, die Band auf unserem kleinen Festival begrüßen zu können.

Des weiteren werden aus dem Hause Neuwerk die Bands SITD und Zeromancer in Deutzen mit von der Partie sein.

Das Newcomervoting und die Festivalumfrage werden bis Mitte Dezember noch freigeschaltet sein. Also kräftig abstimmen. Die Gewinner des Bandvotings und der Umfrage werden Ende Dezember bekannt gegeben.

Wir haben bereits sehr viele Nachfragen bezüglich der Vermietung der Themenwagen erhalten. Leider stehen auf dem Festivalgelände nur 6 Wagen zur Verfügung. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns entschieden, die Wagen unter allen Anfragen zu verlosen. Allen, die nicht gewinnen, können wir nur die Pensionen und Hotels in der Umgebung von Deutzen nahe legen. Allerdings waren auch diese in der Vergangenheit immer sehr schnell ausgebucht.

Unser Partner Hotel ist das Apart Hotel Böhlen, welches preisgünstig Zimmer mit Frühstück anbietet.

Der Zeltplatz ist natürlich auch wieder geöffnet.

VNV Nation – Headliner @ NCN Festival 2011

Dear NCN Festival community,
a sensation was already looming the last weeks. Now we can officially announce that the no one less than VNV Nation will be the headliner on the main stage on Sunday night.

For us it is a great honor to welcome this band at our small festival.

Furthermore, with SITD and Zeromancer we can confirm two other great bands who will join us in Deutzen this year.

The Newcomer Voting and the Festival Poll will remain online until mid-December. So keep voting. The winners of the band voting and the poll will be announced at the end of December.

We already received a lot of queries on the rental of the theme trailers. Unfortunately, on the camping ground there are only 6 trailers available, so we decided to raffle them. To all those who do not win, we recommend the guesthouses and hotels in the Deutzen area.
However, in the past these were booked very quickly.

Our partner hotel is the Aparthotel in Böhlen, which offers bed and breakfast at favorable prices. Nevertheless, the camping ground is open as well.

Liebe Amphi Fans,
langsam aber stetig neigt sich das Jahr 2010 seinem Ende zu. Während die ersten Lichterketten das Straßenbild der Innenstädte säumen und der alljährliche Trubel seinen Lauf nimmt, beginnen auch bei uns die Vorbereitungen für die besinnlichen Tage rund um das frohe Fest.
Mit dem näher rückenden Weihnachtsfest, füllen sich auch die Reihen des Amphi Festivals 2011 weiter. Nach Nitzer Ebb und Covenant stehen erneut vier weitere Top-Acts in den Startlöchern, um Euch im kommenden Sommer ein Stelldichein zu bieten.

Neue Bandbestätigungen zum Amphi Festival 2011:

Neuzugang Nummer 1 eignet sich nicht nur bestens dazu unterwegs Euren Nebenmann an der Ampelkreuzung zu erschrecken, auch sonst sind AGONOIZE eine Spitzen-Partie! Wenn es um adrenalinhaltigen Electrosound geht, macht den Berliner Vollgasprofis niemand etwas vor. Angereichert mit visuellen Splattereffekten sind AGONOIZE für Ihre brachialen Bühnenshows bekannt und nichts für schwache Nerven!

Nicht minder actiongeladen lieben es die Industrial-Bomber FEINDFLUG. Legten sie mit ihrem Konzert beim Amphi Festival 2009 doch sprichwörtlich die Bühne in Schutt und Asche. 2011 wagen sich Felix und Banane erneut an die Amphi-Front, um mit einem fulminanten Klanggewitter der Schrecken des 2. Weltkrieges zu gemahnen.

Als Dritte im Bunde dürfen wir Euch heute CLAN OF XYMOX ankündigen. Die niederländischen Gothic-Ikonen um Mastermind Ronny Moorings haben seit ihrem letzten Auftritt in Köln nicht nur die magische Schallmauer des 25jährigen Bandjubiläums durchbrochen, auch ein neues Album steht nach unzähligen Szene Klassikern, wie &bdquoThere´s No Tomorrow“ und &bdquoJasmine & Rose“ bei CLAN OF XYMOX 2011 ins Haus. Beste Voraussetzungen also für eine stimmungsvolle Show im Kölner Tanzbrunnen.

New bands confirmed for the Amphi Festival 2011

Dear Amphi Fans,
Slowly the year 2010 is nearing its end. While the first holiday lights are lining the pictures of the inner-cities and the annual excitement takes its course, our preparations for the silent days around Christmas have begun as well. With the festive days getting nearer, the lines of the Amphi Festival 2011 are further closing.
Following the recent confirmations of Nitzer Ebb and Covenant, another four top-acts signed up, to take part in our next summer extravaganza.

New bands confirmed for the Amphi Festival 2011:

The first new entry not only offers a profound measure to give the chills to your neighbour at the next traffic light, AGONOIZE are in any respect on top of their game! Especially in providing adrenaline-pumped electro sound, there are very few to teach the heavy machinery specialists from Berlin a lesson. Reinforced by visual splatter effects AGONOIZE are infamous for their rough-edged stage performances and nothing for the faint-hearted!

All quiet at the Amphi-front? Not in the slightest! The industrial-bombers FEINDFLUG always enjoy to deliver an action-packed show. After literally laying the Amphi stage in ashes in 2009, Felix and Banane are returning with a sonic thunderstorm, to commemorate the horrors of the World War II.

Being our third addition to the pack, we are fond to announce CLAN OF XYMOX. Since their last Amphi appearance the iconic Dutch goth band, led by mastermind Ronny Moorings, not only passed the magic mile-marker of their 25th band anniversary. Following the footsteps of countless classic tunes like &bdquoThere´s No Tomorrow“ and &bdquoJasmine & Rose“, CLAN OF XYMOX will have a new album ready in 2011, setting the best premise for an inspiring show in Cologne.

SAMSAS TRAUM will release their upcoming album in (early) 2011 as well. Following a strong appearance at the Staatenhaus this year, Alexander Kaschte and his band are picking up the momentum again. So look forward with us to another round of ingenious dark rock by SAMSAS TRAUM.

Ladies & gentlemen, the waiting is over! The godfathers of industrial, NITZER EBB, are coming to Cologne! In the luggage: brilliant fireworks of timeless classic tunes  and their formidable comeback album “Industrial Complex“, by which Bon Harris and Douglas McCarthy had proven not to grow older but simply better and better!

Elegance and style, paired up with the distinctive voice of Eskil Simonsson, are the trademarks of the swedish electro stars COVENANT. The men in suits are moving fans worldwide with their driving beats and innovative sound, transforming the coldest floor into a boiling dance extravaganza in no time.

AMPHI FESTIVAL 2011 – Neue Bands & mehr

Liebe AMPHI-Fans,
rasant hat es begonnen und es wird immer noch besser. Gerade erst haben sich DEINE LAKAIEN dem Aufgebot des Amphi Festival 2011 angeschlossen, da dürfen wir Euch bereits die nächsten phantastischen Neuzugänge ankündigen.

Dieses Mal präsentieren wir Euch gleich sieben neue Bands, die die musikalische Vielfalt mit deftigen Electrobeats, apokalyptischem Pop und einer geballten Ladung Rock bereichern werden.

Den Anfang macht eine Band, die ganz oben auf Euren Wunschlisten stand: [X]-RX ! Die Kölner Industrial-Rave Götter brennen bereits darauf, Euch vor heimischer Kulisse ein deftiges Brett um die Ohren zu hauen und wir freuen uns, dass wir Euch diesen besonderen Wunsch erfüllen konnten.

Kein bisschen leiser, gibt es ein Wiedersehen mit EBM Legende Claus Larsen und seiner musikalischen Ein-Mann-Armee LEÆTHER STRIP. Lange Zeit von den Bühnen verschwunden, legte der umtriebige Däne 2009 ein fulminantes Live-Comeback hin. Angespornt von den gefeierten Auftritten nimmt Claus Larsen das Amphi Festival 2011 erneut ins Visier.

Während FROZEN PLASMA derzeit fleißig am Nachfolger ihres 2009 erschienenen Erfolgsalbums “Monumentum“ arbeiten, erreichte uns brandaktuell ihre Zusage zum Amphi Festival 2011. Vasi Vallis und Felix Marc erweitern damit das Programm um eine Extraportion Electropop der Spitzenklasse.

Das schwedische Duo ORDO ROSARIUS EQUILIBRIO bewegt sich mit seinem Schaffen im Spannungsfeld aus akustische Gitarren, zyklischen Klangwelten, Streichern und Percussions. Eine musikalisches Bild von der drohenden Apokalypse gepaart mit den Orgien des antiken Roms.

SUBWAY TO SALLY und SALTATIO MORTIS bedürfen inzwischen wohl keiner großen Vorstellung mehr. Diese Namen stehen für Folkmetal & Mittelalterrock vom Allerfeinsten. Während SUBWAY TO SALLY seit beinahe zwei Jahrzehnten ihrem Ruf als legendäre Live-Band gerecht werden, stürmten SALTATIO MORTIS mit ihrem letzten Studioalbum &bdquoWer Wind Saet“ furios in die Top 10 der Deutschen Albumcharts. Nach dem grandiosen Erfolg im vergangenen Jahr bereichert der Kölner Forensik-Spezialist DR. MARK BENECKE auch 2011 wieder das Amphi Festival mit seinen informativ-unterhaltsamen Vorträgen. Dabei dreht sich dieses Mal an beiden Festivaltagen alles um das Thema “Vampire unter uns“.

Darüber hinaus bietet das Theater am Tanzbrunnen die perfekte Bühne für PERSEPHONE. Bei ihren Konzerten erschaffen Sonja Kraushofer (L`Âme Immortelle), Martin Höfert und ihre Band stets eine unvergleichliche Atmosphäre, indem sie die Intimität eines Kammerensembles mit der Dynamik einer Musical Performance verbinden. Beeindruckend und intensiv wissen Persephone zudem das Überraschungsmoment auf ihrer Seite!

AMPHI FESTIVAL 2011 – new bands & more

Dear AMPHI-Fans,
we had a furious start and it´s getting even wilder. While, shortly ago, DEINE LAKAIEN joined the circle of the Amphi Festival 2011, the next arrivals are already in the pipeline. Again we even have another seven bands to announce, offering a wide range from dark industrial beats to a heavy load of mediaeval rock, enriching the diversity of the programme.

Today we start with a band that ranked very high on your wishlists: [X]-Rx ! The  industrial-rave gods from Cologne are burning to unleash their electronic behemoth in front of their home crowd and we are extremely happy to present this special highlight on the Amphi Festival 2011.

Not a single bit quieter, there will be another encounter with EBM legend Claus Larsen as the musical one-man-army LEÆTHER STRIP. Vanished from the stages for many years, the hard-working Dane returned with a heroic live-comeback in 2009. Encouraged by these celebrated shows Claus Larsen takes the Amphi Festival in sight again for 2011.

While FROZEN PLASMA continue to work on the follow-uo to their successful 2009 album “Monumentum“, we most recently received their confirmation for the Amphi 2011. So Vasi Vallis and Felix Marc are going to enrich the programme with an extra share of high-class electro-pop.

With their equally sophisticated and experimental compositions and their unique stage presence KIRLIAN CAMERA are without question one of the most fascinating acts in the electronic music scene. After forming the band in 1980, mastermind Angelo Bergamini looks upon a moved history that spawned countless genre classics, like the unforgettable &bdquoEclipse“.

With its musical creations the swedish duo ORDO ROSARIUS EQUILIBRIO explores the space between the poles of acoustic guitars, cyclic soundscapes, strings and percussions, creating a musical image of the impending apocalypse, combined with the orgies of the ancient Rome.

SUBWAY TO SALLY and SALTATIO MORTIS are two of a kind that need no further introduction. Their names are synonymous for folk- and mediaeval rock on the highest level. While SUBWAY TO SALLY have proven their reputation as a legendary live-band for almost twenty years now, SALTATIO MORTIS stormed the German album charts in 2009, peaking in the top ten with their latest studio album &bdquoWer Wind Saet“. Let yourself be infected by the joy of playing and experience both bands while they are calling for a dance at the Tanzbrunnen.

THE THEATRE PROGRAMME – FIRST FACTS
For 2011 we are also preparing an interesting programme for the “Theater am Tanzbrunnen”. Currently we are working on different ideas that will be announced in the upcoming weeks and months and we even have two great acts already confirmed.

Following the tremendous success of last year´s performances, the forensic specialist DR. MARK BENECKE returns to the Amphi Festival in 2011 with another of his entertaining and informative talks. This time he is going to speak about “Vampires among us“.

In addition to that the Theater am Tanzbrunnen provides the perfect stage for PERSEPHONE. While performing, Sonja Kraushofer (L`Âme Immortelle), Martin Höfert and their band always create an incomparable atmosphere, by combining the intimacy of a chamber ensemble with the dynamics of a musical performance. Impressive and intense Persephone also know how to count the moment of surprise on their side!

With PERSEPHONE, performing at the “Theater-Stage”, the line up of the Amphi Festival 2011 will be enhanced by one additional band to a number of 35 musical acts, plus the upcoming artists, performing the supporting programme.
