Dort wird Elias Matt in Begleitung seiner Gefährten an verschiedenen Orten die Propagandarede zum Album “Achtung! Alpha” halten.
“Wir werden hier und da erscheinen, und ich werde mit einem Megafon unser Anliegen vortragen”, verrät Elias Matt.
“Meine Vertauten werden an meiner Seite sein und das WGT-Volk beobachten. Gebt fein acht!”

Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission – Der Alpha ist ein Clown?
Epileptische Anwandlungen, Pantomime, Irrsinn. Nach der kürzlichen Veröffentlichung des Albums „Achtung! Alpha“, waren Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission nun mit ihrer Retro-Electro-Schau in Berlin und Brandenburg (a. d. Havel) auf der Bühne zu sehen. Dort stand dann eindeutig ein geistig gestörter Mensch.
Frontmann Elias Matt zuckte beängstigend. Bei der Show in Berlin schlug er sich das Mikrofon mehrfach so an die Stirn, dass Blut kam und stillte die Wunde dann ruhig und unbekümmert mit seinen schwarz-samtenen Handschuhen. Seine Bandmitglieder zeigten keine Reaktion und jeder wirkte auf seine Weise entrückt und nahezu autistisch. Dazu gab es eine mehr als solide Retro-Elektro-Pop-Performance mit live gespielten und gefilterten Analogsequenzen und den von der Band versprochenen extravaganten Theater-haften Zügen. Die Verbindung zwischen alter Elektronik und dem Schlagzeugspiel von Drummer Burchard Gonko geben gerade live den besonderen Sound der Band wieder, der sich in seiner Schroffheit wohltuend von den Laptop-Bands dieser Tage abhebt. Am Ende trug Elias Matt eine Clowns-Nase und sein Gesicht entglitt in eine abgedrehte Pantomime.
So herrlich abgehoben und eigenartig wie die Interviews und das sonstige Auftreten der Band, so auch ihre Bühnenpräsenz. Eine Band von der man gerade bei ihren Konzerten auch in Zukunft sicher einiges zu erwarten hat, so denn man sie auf die Bühnen lässt …

Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission – The Alpha is a Clown?
Epileptic seizures, pantomime, madness. Having released the album “Achtung! Alpha” a few days ago, Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission performed their retro-electro-show in Berlin and Brandenburg live on stage. There you could
see a definitely mentally ill human being.
Frontman Elias Matt showed frightening tics. During the Berlin show he kicked the microphone against his forehead until blood was shed and thereafter he stopped the bleeding calm and emotionless with his black sued handshoes. Bandmembers of him showed no reaction and everybody made the impression of being out of their minds and nearly autistic. The solid retro-electro-pop performance of live filtered analogue sequences contained also the promised theatre-like elements.
Combining old electronics with acoustic drums by Burchard Gonko hallmarked the distinguished sound of the band that is a raw contrast to all those contemporary laptop-bands. At the end, Elias Matt put on a red clown-nose and escaped to a twisted pantomime. As sick as their interviews and other appearances of the band the live performance perfectly lines up to it. A band that we can expect a lot from in the future also on stage, if venues dare to unleashe them to the audience….

Sie nennen es nicht Konzert und nicht Record-Release-Party. Für die Retro-Elektro-Musikgruppe Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission ist es die „I. Achtung! Alpha-Bühnenschau“ und sie starten damit die erste Bühnenaktivität zu ihrer Album-Veröffentlichung.
Wer im letzten Jahr zu den wenigen Auserwählten zählte, die Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission bei ihrer kurzen Bühnenpremiere erleben konnten, war sich nicht sicher, ob Elias Matt kurz vor einem epileptischen Anfall stand oder ob Sängerin Stefanie wirklich frei von jeglichen Drogen ist. Aber Elias Matt versichert: „Am Tag einer Bühnenschau gibt es nur Mineralwasser, Schorle und leichte Kost. Wer mit Rauschmitteln arbeitet, der fliegt!“

Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission – „Who is caught using drugs, will be sacked!”
Neither they call it a live-gig nor a record release party. Retro-electro band Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission name it “First Achtung! Alpha – Stageshow” (I. Achtung! Alpha – Bühnenschau) and start their first live activities to promote their album release.
The selected audience of their last year’s show live premiers have never been sure whether Elias Matt was in a preepileptic state or not and vocalist Stefanie never seemed to be off drugs. But Elias Matt reassures: “On the day of the stage show we will only have some tab water, lemonades and diet food. Who is caught using drugs, will be sacked immediately!”
On Thursday, February 10, the advent of the “Achtung! Alpha” release, Berlin will be the host of the “First Achtung! Alpha – Stageshow”. A theatralic event of Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission in perfect extravaganza and manic exaggeration in an intimate atmosphere at the cult-location of legendary Dark Friday nights: “Die Insel”. Additionally, it will see the premier of the highly anticipated “Propagandarede” (propaganda speech).
